How do I suggest a book for inclusion on our list?

Last Updated: Apr 26, 2015 05:54PM EDT

Our list of books includes classic and current titles recommended by the Horn Book Magazine, Bank Street College of Education, NCTE, IRA, ALA, Reading Rockets, the New York Public Library, the New York Times, as well as various national and international prize committees. Even with this wide range of sources for titles, we miss many valuable books.

We count on the BookMentors community to suggest new books to add to our list. Your suggestions matter because they help you influence the quality and depth of our offerings to schools, and they also help us become a truly member-inspired organization.

To suggest a book for inclusion on our list, go to either the "Give" or "Request" button on the home page and make a search for the book title.  If the book is not already on, the search results give the option to "Suggest for inclusion."  Just click that button to suggest a book.

As soon as we receive your book suggestion, we let you know if it is appropriate for our list. Once we have accepted your book suggestion, the book is available for request and donation.
